Southern Utah's Double-Double Dynamo and Unpredictable Force
Maizen Fausett, Southern Utah's battle-tested forward, exploded for 13 points and 10 rebounds in a gritty 59-53 upset over Montana State, showcasing his relentless rebounding and clutch scoring that powered the Thunderbirds through 37 starts in the 2022-23 season—ranking second on the team in scoring and eighth in the Big Sky. Since arriving in 2018 as an unheralded recruit, his high-motor intensity and forward versatility make him a differentiator in transition and the paint; a proven starter with no major injury flags, he's an ideal plug-and-play fit for teams needing tough, reliable frontcourt production right now.
