Tommy Spagnolo was a rugged, rebound-first Mountaineer who carved out value the hard way
Tommy Spagnolo’s App State profile shows a hard-nosed forward who earned his way from walk-on status to captain, with production built on rebounding, efficient finishing, and steady leadership rather than flash. In 2014-15, he was averaging 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds early in the season, and earlier reporting noted he led the team in rebounds while ranking near the top in scoring. If you want a blue-collar frontcourt piece who brings toughness, double-double upside, and locker-room credibility, he’s the kind of fit coaches love.
