FIU's Punishing Road-Grader from the Late 2000s Line
Cedric Mack, a bruising offensive lineman for the FIU Panthers in 2009-2010, earned four starts at right guard as a punishing blocker who dominated in eight games, bringing JC Gridwire Honorable Mention All-American credentials from El Camino College. His differentiator? Relentless intensity and physicality that wore down defenses—ideal for teams needing a gritty interior protector with proven starting experience. No notable injury history; now years removed from college, he's a name for historical scouting or coaching prospects, but his tenacity makes him a fit for run-heavy schemes valuing toughness over flash.
