Owen Thomas anchored Penn’s defense as an All-Ivy pass-rusher with captain-level grit
In the 2009 season, Penn DE Owen Thomas was a second-team All-Ivy standout who started all 10 games, posted 29 tackles and six sacks, and finished second in the league in sacks; teammates and reports also pointed to his leadership, intellect, and intensity as differentiators beyond the box score.
