Carson Byers is Miami (OH)’s strikeout-heavy lefty reliever with a stopper’s résumé
Byers has emerged as one of Miami (OH)’s most dependable arms, following a 2025 season in which he posted a 2.61 ERA, struck out 72 batters in 76.0 innings, and held opponents to a .215 average while earning All-MAC Second Team and All-Region honors.[1][2] He also owns proven leverage value with six saves in 2025 and a prior MAC Reliever of the Year season in 2024, which suggests he fits best on a team needing a tough, battle-tested late-inning lefty who can miss bats and handle high-pressure outs.[1][4]
