Marnicha Prudent brings rebounding juice and interior toughness to USC Upstate
Prudent, a 5-foot-11 forward for USC Upstate, has been valued for her rebounding, physicality, and efficient finishing around the basket. In her 2020-21 junior season, she started 6 of 14 games, averaged 5.0 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game, and shot .351 from the field and .711 from the line; she also opened her Upstate career with a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double. She looks like a fit for teams needing a gritty, high-motor frontcourt player who impacts possessions without needing the offense run through her.
