Explosive High School WR with Untapped College Potential at Rhode Island Rams
Matt Pires, a dynamic wide receiver for the Rhode Island Rams, burst onto the scene with his senior year highlights from Lincolndale, NY, showcasing blistering speed, sharp route-running, and highlight-reel catches that have racked up over 4,300 Hudl views since 2016. His differentiator? Raw athleticism paired with a gritty, high-motor play style that screams big-play threat, making him a perfect fit for teams needing vertical stretch and YAC specialists. While limited college stats are available, his high school tape suggests breakout upside in URI's offense—no major injury flags, just pure upside for scouts eyeing FCS gems.
