Sam Bubonics brings Dayton reliable hands and return-game juice
Bubonics is a versatile Dayton receiver who has already proven he can impact games as both a pass-catcher and punt returner: in 2023 he posted 9 catches for 105 yards, and in 2022 he added 14 catches, a touchdown, and an 8.7-yard punt-return average. Dayton’s bio also notes he was the Flyers’ leading receiver in 2021 with 34 catches for 477 yards, and he earned All-PFL recognition, which signals trust in his production and consistency. He looks like a fit for a team that values dependable depth, special-teams value, and a player who can win with reliability more than flash.[1][2][17]
