Akron Zips Guard with Elite 3-Point Legacy and Resilient Drive
Kate Garry, a Guard for the Akron Zips, stands out as a four-year letterwinner from Loveland High School who holds the all-time record for 3-pointers made (178) and earned Honorable Mention All-State honors. Her differentiator is her intense, data-driven shooting mentality paired with a resilient personality; though her playing career at Akron ended early due to an injury, her intensity and leadership as a grade captain remain defining traits. You should care because she brings a proven, record-breaking scoring pedigree and a coachable, high-intensity mindset that translates well to team success. She is a strong fit for any team needing a reliable perimeter scorer who thrives under pressure and leads by example, despite her brief collegiate playing window.
