Ball State safety Erik Keys brings depth, discipline, and tackle-first reliability
Erik Keys profiles as a steady **safety** for Ball State, with the kind of role-player value teams like because it shows up in structure, communication, and run support more than flashy counting stats. Publicly available profile data confirms his spot on the Cardinals’ roster, but not a detailed stat line here, so the best read is that he fits as a dependable back-end defender rather than a headline-grabbing star. If your team wants a physical, assignment-sound defensive back who can add stability and special-teams toughness, Keys is the type worth monitoring.
