Asia Henderson brings veteran size, rebounding grit, and paint presence for UNCW
A 6-foot-3 center for UNCW, Asia Henderson has been a reliable interior piece whose game is built on size, rebounding, and physicality. In the 2022-23 season, she averaged 2.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 28 games, and earlier at Wichita State she flashed rim protection by leading the Shockers with 26 blocks in one season. Her most obvious fit is a team needing paint defense, screen-setting, and hustle boards; her value goes beyond the box score because she brings veteran experience, steady effort, and a low-drama, blue-collar presence inside.
