steady UIW edge defender with size, experience, and a long-ball playing style
Quinten Kocian is a 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive end who brings veteran size and positional versatility to UIW, after logging past seasons at tight end and offensive line before settling in on defense. UIW’s roster and player bio list him as a junior defensive end, while ESPN also identifies him at DE, but no 2026 individual stat line was available in the material reviewed. The appeal here is frame, experience, and functional toughness: he looks like the kind of line player who can hold the edge, absorb contact, and bring a physical tone even when the box score stays quiet.
