experienced Wisconsin DL with proven Big Ten grit
Sprague is best known as a hard-nosed, team-first defensive lineman whose value comes from leverage, toughness, and reliable play rather than flash; at Wisconsin, he earned team-captain recognition in 2002 and All-Big Ten honorable mention, which signals respected leadership and consistent production. He profiles as a fit for teams that want a disciplined, physical interior defender who can set the tone up front and handle the dirty work. The main appeal is intangibles: competitiveness, durability, and a blue-collar mentality that coaches usually love.
