reliable Holy Cross linebacker with proven run support and special-teams value
Perry Townsend’s profile is that of a dependable, do-your-job linebacker: in the 2010 season at Holy Cross, he appeared in all 12 games as a reserve LB and special-teams contributor, finishing with 26 tackles, including 22 solo stops[2]. That kind of production suggests a player who plays with discipline, finishes tackles, and can help a team immediately in coverage, depth, and kicking-game roles rather than just flash on highlight reels[2]. Based on the available data, he looks like a fit for a roster that values toughness, consistency, and versatile special-teams impact[2].
