UMBC’s strikeout-lefty with late-inning bite
In the 2026 season, Brady Fox emerged as a key arm for UMBC, posting a 4.60 ERA with 53 strikeouts in 43.0 innings and leading the team in punchouts[1][2]. The best part? He’s not just missing bats — he’s shown real bullpen value, picking up saves in pressure spots, including a late escape against Maine in April 2026[7]. Listed at 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, Fox brings a competitive, attack-the-zone left-handed profile, and his track record suggests he can help a staff that wants strikeout upside and leverage-inning toughness[2][3].
