Norfolk State’s mystery man on the defensive line
There isn’t enough publicly available 2026 game-by-game production to fairly label Johnnyson Jones a stat-leader yet, but Norfolk State lists him on its current football roster as a defensive lineman, which keeps him squarely in the mix for a physically demanding rotation role[1]. The key takeaway: if he’s on your radar, it’s for trench value—size, edge-setting, and disruption potential matter more than flash at this position, and his fit will come down to how quickly he can translate practice intensity into live-game impact.
