Sam Benjamin brings interior size and proven disruption, but he is a defensive lineman—not a Rhode Island WR
The available information identifies Sam Benjamin as a **6'5", 285-pound defensive lineman** for **San Diego State**, with **7 solo tackles and 1.5 sacks** in his listed season stats; I could not verify a Rhode Island Rams wide receiver profile for this name. [2][3] For a team, his appeal is clear: he offers **pro size**, interior length, and at least some pass-rush production, which can matter if you need a physical defensive presence rather than a skill-position receiver.
