Camden Ross brings middle-order thump and veteran stability to WKU behind the plate
In the 2026 season, Camden Ross has been a steady run producer for Western Kentucky, hitting .309 with 7 home runs, 41 RBI and a .949 OPS while appearing in 54 games and starting 53[7]. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound senior catcher has a proven track record of offensive growth, building on a .296/.438/.889 line in 2024 and a .301/.450/.848 campaign in 2025[2]. What makes him interesting is the combo of power, patience and toughness: he’s long been viewed as a polished, reliable college bat, and WKU’s own game notes show he can still deliver in big moments, like a late go-ahead two-RBI single vs. BYU in 2026[5].
