the veteran glue-guy who brought instant winning to Creighton
In the 2021-22 season, Hawkins was Creighton’s steady senior engine, averaging 13.8 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 43.7% from the field and 35.8% from three.[2][12] He was a Second Team All-BIG EAST pick and repeatedly showed up in big moments, including a conference-best 11 double-doubles and a reputation for consistency, toughness, and winning presence.[1][4][7] If your team wants an older, high-IQ forward who rebounds, spaces the floor, and stabilizes a locker room, he fits beautifully; if you need explosive shot creation, that’s not his lane.[4][9]
