Caden Duke brings veteran right-handed depth to SJSU’s mound
Caden Duke is a fifth-year right-hander for San José State, listed at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, and has shown real strikeout ability in limited 2026 work, including a three-strikeout outing without allowing a hit or run at UC San Diego and another three-strikeout appearance at San Francisco[1][2]. His value is less about gaudy volume and more about reliability, experienced poise, and the feel of a pitcher who can give a staff clean innings when needed[1][12]. If your team wants a polished, older arm with college experience and some swing-and-miss upside, Duke is the kind of low-drama, high-utility fit that quietly helps win weeks[1][2].
