Daniel McGhie brings size, disruption, and veteran edge to Alabama State's defensive front
Daniel McGhie is a big-bodied defensive lineman at about 6'2", 287 pounds who has shown he can play multiple spots up front, with Alabama State listing him as a DE and older profile material identifying him as a DT/DE. In his 2017 season at Alabama State, he played in 11 games and posted 38 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 4 quarterback hurries, which points to a player who can affect the backfield rather than just occupy space. He looks like a fit for teams needing a physical, experienced interior/outside hybrid who can provide toughness and versatility.[6][7][1]
