UTEP DL Alfonso Auelua brings compact power and proven tackling production
Auelua is a 6-foot-1, 250-pound defensive lineman from Garden Grove with a background as a productive linebacker, including 120 tackles in 2004 and first-team all-conference recognition, which points to a high motor and strong run-defense instincts.[3] ESPN lists him as a defensive tackle with 16 solo tackles and 1 sack in the available college stat line, suggesting a player whose value is more about physicality, leverage, and disruption than flash.[4] He profiles as a fit for a team needing a tough, inside defender who can hold ground and pursue consistently.[1][3][4]
