7-foot-3 Canisius center Marial Dhal brings rare size and rim protection
Marial Dhal is a true outlier physically at 7-foot-3, giving Canisius a massive paint presence and the kind of length that can change shots even with limited minutes. In his Canisius stint, he played sparingly but produced efficiently in reserve duty, with ESPN listing 17 games and 5.8 minutes per game in that season, while the school notes he averaged 0.4 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.3 blocks per game over 19 games. He is best viewed as a situational big whose main value is size, deterrence and matchup disruption rather than offensive volume.[2][6][9]
