Jackson Byrd flashed real late-season juice for ETSU
In the 2025 season, the ETSU sophomore quarterback showed poise and playmaking in a limited role, most notably going 7-for-10 for 123 yards and 3 touchdowns while adding 20 rushing yards in the win over Western Carolina. His calling card is dual-threat upside: he was a highly productive high school runner and passer, and at ETSU he has already shown he can step in cold, settle the offense, and make splash plays without forcing mistakes. If you want a QB with athleticism, composure, and developmental upside, Byrd is worth a hard look.
