Raye-Redmond brings havoc-ball energy to Valpo's backcourt
Raeven Raye-Redmond is a 5-foot-6 guard whose best calling card is disruption: in the 2024-25 season, she averaged 4.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.5 assists per game, with a season-high 15 points at Milwaukee and a six-steal game against Western Michigan. Valpo’s roster notes also say she sat out the 2025-26 season due to injury, so the fit question is really about health and reliability; when available, she looks like a pesky, high-motor guard who can change tempo, pressure the ball, and stuff the stat sheet in scrappy minutes.
