veteran UNI defensive tackle with proven Missouri Valley pedigree
Wes Lane is a former UNI run-stopper who earned All-Missouri Valley recognition in the 2009 season and was later invited to NFL mini-camps, a strong clue that his game translated beyond college. He profiles as a disruptive interior DL with enough power and reliability to earn starter-level trust, but the available current data is limited and does not show recent 2026 production. If you value toughness, trench experience, and a player with a track record of handling grown-man football, Lane is the kind of name that makes coordinators nod approvingly.
