Weber State’s edge-setting disruptor with proven backfield punch
In the 2009 season, Kevin Linehan was Weber State’s tone-setter on the defensive line, leading the Wildcats with 12.0 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks while earning Honorable Mention All-Big Sky recognition. He played and started in all 11 games, and coaches credited him with excellent burst off the snap, quick hands, and rare strength—traits that make him more than a box-score guy. He also brought veteran leadership and intensity, which matters if you want a DE who can tilt protections and bring edge pressure with some bite.
