Senior DB on an Illinois State defense built for a playoff run
A senior defensive back for Illinois State, Jawill Aldridge profiles as a veteran piece in a Redbirds program that reached the 2025 FCS national championship game, which makes experience and composure a real selling point. Public roster data confirms his role on the 2026 Illinois State roster, but detailed stat production and advanced scouting notes are not widely surfaced in the available sources, so his value is best read through context: a likely depth-and-dependability DB who fits a team that wants mature, scheme-aware defensive backs who can handle high-pressure games.[2][3][1]
