Michigan’s long, rare-breed developmental lineman with freaky traits
Beigel is a classic upside play: a former soccer player from Germany who only started football in 2020, then quickly turned into a massive, flexible mover at Michigan. In 2025, he was listed at 6-foot-5 and 312 pounds and appeared in seven games, mostly in a developmental role, while reports from Michigan’s strength staff praised his unusual movement, lower-body flexibility and explosive testing numbers. He’s not a polished instant-impact DL yet, but if you want length, athletic ceiling and coachable juice, he’s the kind of prospect who can become a sneaky problem later.
