From Bethune-Cookman Forward to Rising Star in College Sports Administration
Jashell Mitchell, a 5-10 sophomore forward for the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats women's basketball team, showcased her athletic roots as a Flint Northern HS standout from back-to-back Michigan state championship squads; now transitioned to football operations leadership at Jackson State (chief of staff) and North Carolina Central (assistant AD), earning the prestigious 2023 Women Leaders in College Sports Rising Executive award as one of only three honorees—her differentiator is elite organizational intensity, versatility across sports, and trailblazing presence, making her an invaluable asset for any program's front office or coaching staff.
