Experienced Georgia Southern safety with versatility and edge
A.J. McCray has been a trusted, versatile piece in Georgia Southern’s secondary, with past reporting highlighting him as a depth-and-experience safety who can contribute across the back end and even in utility roles. His calling card is reliability: he’s not just a stat-sheet hunter, but a player who brings toughness, football IQ, and adaptable value to a defense that needs consistency. If your team wants a steady, experienced defensive back who understands assignment football and plays with some bite, McCray fits the bill.
