Louisville's Two-Way High School Phenom Turned College CB
Richard Benjamin, a Louisville Cardinals cornerback who joined the program around 2014, burst onto the scene from Tampa Bay Tech with elite high school versatility—528 receiving yards and 5 TDs on just 14 catches as a sophomore at Middleton, plus 58 tackles and 3 INTs defensively, and a senior year of 35 catches for 509 yards, 718 rushing yards, 6 rushing TDs, and 4 INTs. His 4.75 40-yard dash and 28.5-inch vertical highlight speed and explosiveness for a CB. A raw, athletic playmaker with big-play instincts and two-way upside, he's a developmental gem for teams seeking versatile DBs with scoring punch—perfect if you value high-motor recruits who thrive in zone schemes.
