UNLV DB Matt Vinal Brings Reliable Tackling and Program Familiarity
Matt Vinal is a veteran UNLV defensive back with a clear value-add: he already knows the program, has been around the field long enough to earn 26 solo tackles in his college career, and brings the kind of steady, assignment-sound presence that coaches trust in the secondary. ESPN lists him as a DB for UNLV, while UNLV’s own football site identifies him as a former Rebel letterman now working as a graduate assistant on defense, underscoring his football IQ and fit within the program. He profiles as a dependable, culture-fit defender rather than a flashy stat-chaser.[2][5]
