Josh McFadden brings veteran depth and ball-hawking upside to SC State’s secondary
Josh McFadden is a seasoned South Carolina State defensive back whose appeal is more about steadiness, feel, and experience than flashy stat-padding. In the most recent available SC State listing, he’s a graduate student DB at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, and ESPN’s current player page keeps him on the Bulldogs’ radar as an active roster piece. The clearest signal: he fits as a reliable, tough-minded secondary option who can handle special-teams or rotational work while giving a staff a mature, knowledgeable defender with HBCU-tested savvy.
