EMU freshman wing with hometown upside and a clean slate
Danica Holmes is listed on Eastern Michigan’s women’s basketball roster as a 5-foot-5 freshman guard/wing from Belleville, Michigan, but publicly available team info does not yet show meaningful college stat production. The appeal here is more developmental than box-score flashy: a local-area player with freshmen upside who could grow into a pace-setting, role-fitting piece if her intensity and defensive competitiveness translate. For a staff looking for long-term depth rather than an instant stat-stuffer, Holmes reads as a project worth monitoring.
