Reliable, physical ULM safety who brings steady tackling and veteran presence
Thompson stands out as a dependable, high-volume tackler for Louisiana-Monroe, with ESPN listing 110 solo tackles and StatMuse showing 111 solo tackles and 32 assists across four seasons, which points to consistent production rather than splashy, stats-padding plays. He also has game experience and starting credibility, having played all 13 games and started five times in one recent season while posting 49 tackles. That profile suggests a safety who fits teams needing toughness, steadiness, and accountability in the back end more than pure turnover production.
