Michigan’s veteran walk-on LB turned staff standout
In the 2025 season, Jack Dunaway is best known more for his football IQ and program fit than for eye-popping on-field production: Michigan lists him as a senior linebacker at 6-2, 233, and his path includes two Academic All-Big Ten honors and a reputation as a reliable, high-character team guy. He’s a local Bloomfield Hills product who earned his spot the hard way, which usually signals toughness, discipline, and buy-in—exactly the kind of glue player coaches trust. If you want production stats, he isn’t the headline; if you want culture, intelligence, and accountability, he absolutely is.
