Amaura Brandt Brings Veteran Leadership and Coaching-Grade IQ to SMU
Amaura Brandt is best known at SMU for being a steady, experienced guard with a strong basketball background and a reputation for smart play rather than flashy volume. Her SMU bio notes she was a high school valedictorian and comes from a basketball family, which fits the profile of a disciplined, high-IQ contributor who can fit into a system and help raise the floor around her. If you want a poised, dependable guard who should understand roles, spacing, and team concepts, she looks like a solid fit.
