Ali Abdullah brings proven Howard guard pedigree and tough, winning-team DNA
Ali Abdullah is a Howard guard with a track record as a program newcomer who helped bring winning, defensive-minded energy to the Bison; Howard’s 2025-26 roster and team pages list him on the guard unit, while the school’s 2020 release highlighted his background leading Baltimore Poly to multiple regional and state titles[1][2]. His appeal is the combination of guard play, competitive edge, and a résumé built around winning habits rather than empty flash, which is exactly the kind of low-drama, high-buy-in profile that can fit a team looking for toughness and organization[1][2].
