Holy Cross freshman DB Travon Chardonet brings ball-hawking instincts and high-motor consistency
Chardonet enters Holy Cross as a 6-foot, 175-pound freshman defensive back with a strong prep résumé: two-time all-conference second-team pick, 70 tackles, 10 pass breakups, one interception, and four straight academic honor-roll selections in his senior-year profile. That combination points to a disciplined, reliable defender who can tackle, stay sticky in coverage, and add value right away on the back end. He looks like a smart fit for a team that wants a dependable, coachable DB with proven production and no red-flag baggage.
