Memphis Tigers' Towering Redshirt Senior Tackle with Limited Game Action
Jonathan Young, a 6-6, 298-pound redshirt senior right tackle for the Memphis Tigers, appeared in just one game during their 11-2 2024 season that ended in a Frisco Bowl win, earning a solid 73 overall rating in EA Sports College Football 26—highlighting his raw size and potential as a mauler in the run game. His journey from Iowa Central CC to Memphis shows resilience and steady development, making him a reliable depth piece with starter upside for teams needing beefy O-line protection; ideal for power-run schemes but may lack elite agility for pass-heavy attacks.
