Max Walraven brings size, mobility and a high-upside freshman frame to Wofford's QB room
Walraven enters the 2026 season as a 6-5, 210-pound freshman quarterback with legit dual-threat juice: at West Forsyth in 2025, he threw for 2,138 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 526 rushing yards and six more scores, and he closed his prep career with 5,570 passing yards, 1,300 rushing yards and 70 total touchdowns. Wofford’s staff clearly values his big-body build, production and captain-level leadership, but there’s no college stat line yet, so the bet here is on upside, competitiveness and development rather than immediate plug-and-play certainty.
