Record-Setting New Mexico State QB Who Still Sets the Standard
Holbrook was a high-volume, highly efficient New Mexico State quarterback whose career still stands out for its production and ball security: he finished with 11,577 passing yards, 93 total touchdowns, and a 145.5 passing efficiency that ranks second in Aggie history.[2][3][6] What makes him notable beyond the box score is the blend of steady command and explosive passing volume—he could carry an offense without becoming reckless, which is why he reads as a fit for a system that values quarterback decisiveness, accuracy, and sustained pace.[2][3]
