Pat Welch brings steady guard play and proven floor leadership to USC Upstate
Welch is a veteran **point guard/shooting guard** who has shown he can stay on the floor and contribute in a steady role, averaging 4.8 points in 17.6 minutes while appearing in all 32 games for USC Upstate in the 2018-19 season. His value is less about raw scoring and more about being a reliable backcourt piece who can handle minutes, fit into a system, and provide experience. He looks like a sensible fit for teams needing composure, versatility, and a guard who won’t need the ball to matter.
