Greg Oliver brings veteran defensive-back pedigree to Portland State
Greg Oliver has long carried a playmaking profile at Portland State, entering the program as a highly recruited defensive back who, in his high school senior season, posted 43 tackles, seven interceptions, four pass breakups and a pick-six. His appeal is the combo package: ball skills, return ability, and multi-sport athleticism that hints at real field awareness rather than just straight-line speed. He’s the kind of safety-corner hybrid who can fit a more aggressive secondary if he’s healthy and still playing with that “take the game away” mentality.
