Colton Kirkpatrick brings old-school linebacker toughness to Lafayette
Kirkpatrick is a former Lafayette linebacker whose listed frame in the 2014 season was 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, giving him the build of a compact, physical defender rather than a chase-only athlete. The key takeaway is identity: he projects as the kind of linebacker who plays with leverage, reliability, and edge, which matters more than raw stat-chasing when you need a tone-setter in the middle of a defense. I could not verify current 2026 playing stats for him from the available sources, so this is best read as roster-level context rather than a fresh performance report.
