Citadel DB Kevin Thornton brings size, experience, and Bulldog grit
Kevin Thornton is a senior defensive back at The Citadel in the 2026 season, listed at 6-2 and 200 pounds, which gives him a bigger frame than the average DB and makes him a potential fit for physical, press-heavy coverage roles. He’s a veteran Bulldog with a long track record in the program, but publicly available stat detail is limited, so the bigger story is profile and fit: size, experience, and the kind of tough, disciplined presence Citadel football tends to value. If you want a DB who can play with edge and maturity, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look.
