Joshua Matthews brings veteran size and proven receiving production to the trenches
Joshua Matthews is listed as a **defensive lineman** for Jackson State, but the available data strongly suggests a different Joshua Matthews: a **6'2", 200-pound wide receiver** with proven FCS production, including **85 career catches for 1,129 yards and 9 touchdowns** across McNeese State and Louisiana Tech-related records. If Jackson State is evaluating him, the big takeaway is experience, size, and playmaking pedigree rather than defensive-line tape; the current public record does not support a true DL profile, so fit concerns are real and the roster listing should be verified before projecting him as a trench defender.[6][1][2]
