Clutch, compact Virginia guard with elite big-game poise
Sean Singletary is best remembered as a **high-IQ, tough-minded point guard** who could control tempo, create late-clock offense, and deliver in pressure moments—most famously for Virginia with a game-winning shot against Duke. He was a **5-11 lead guard** with proven college pedigree, earning **two All-American honors** and **three first-team All-ACC selections**, which signals both production and sustained impact. His fit is strongest for teams that value competitiveness, shot-making, and leadership over size; the main caveat is that his pro résumé was modest, so his value is more as a cerebral floor general than a pure physical mismatch.
