Hazen Lancaster brings left-handed upside, work-ethic appeal, and a fresh role at UNCG
In the 2026 season, Hazen Lancaster made six mound appearances for UNC Greensboro and struck out six hitters, and UNCG’s coaching staff specifically praised his work ethic and attitude as he transitioned into a Director of Baseball Operations role after graduating in 2026. He also carried prior academic recognition as an NJCAA Region 10 All-Academic Team honoree in 2024. He looks like a fit for a program that values reliability, baseball IQ, and behind-the-scenes competitiveness more than flashy stat lines.
